Copenhagen City Guide

As 3 Days of Design welcomes visitors from around the world on June 10-12, Copenhagen becomes a meeting point for creativity, conversation, and new perspectives on the way we live. To mark the occasion, we invite you to explore the city through our eyes.

Our Copenhagen City Guide is a reflection of the places, atmospheres and quiet moments that continue to draw us back to the city. Copenhagen is defined by contrasts - historic streets and contemporary architecture, calm mornings by the harbour and lively evenings that stretch long into summer. Across the city, a strong sense of design, culture and community shapes everything from neighbourhood cafés and independent galleries to carefully curated shops and waterside restaurants.

For 3 Days of Design 2026, Ferm Living presents Form of Life: an exhibition exploring form, material, and proportion through the full collection. Marking our 20th anniversary, the exhibition reflects on two decades of evolving design language, highlighting the enduring silhouettes, details, and tactile qualities that have shaped Ferm Living over time.

The Home of
Ferm Living

Set within the historic grounds of Kuglegården, a former 18th-century naval site, Ferm Living’s headquarters and showroom reflect the same balance of past and present found in our collections. Behind the building’s symmetrical façade, the 450-square-metre showroom unfolds with an easy rhythm, layered with textures, natural materials and details that speak to a slower, more comfortable way of living.

During 3 Days of Design 2026, explore our exhibition, Form of Life, as it unfolds through a series of interconnected chapters, revealing objects as form and form as something that lives through people, time, and setting.

Taarnet at Kongens Nytorv

Originally built in 1913 as a telephone kiosk, Taarnet has been reimagined as an iconic café with a distinctly architectural presence. Its patinated copper roof and ornate detailing stand out against the open sweep of Kongens Nytorv, one of the city’s busiest squares. With tables spilling out into the square and a constant flow of passing cyclists and pedestrians, it is an easy place to sit back and take in the rhythm of the city.

During 3 Days of Design 2026, discover Kiosk Café at Taarnet. Our pop-up café unfolds into the square: an all-day meeting point where coffee, design, and the rhythm of the city come together. Come for coffee by day, and stay for wine, beer, and cocktails by night.

La Banchina

Few places capture the spirit of a Copenhagen summer quite like La Banchina. Arrive early for coffee by the water, stay for lunch and, if the weather allows, take a swim directly from the harbour edge.
